04- Setup application configuration
04-01 Setup paramter
- Login dynamics 365 by admin user
- Prefer to login by HCMADMIN user
- Select Self services
- Select setup
- Select application paramter
- Select application configuration tab
- Enable All function
- You have option to close any function for all company or you can close it for group of users permissions
04-02 Setup Application users group permissions
- Login dynamics 365 by admin user
- Prefer to login by HCMADMIN user
- Select Self services
- Select Application users group permissions
- Define the group ID based on security requirements
- In case company doesn’t have an security restriction permission for users login in application , You can define one group by same legal entity ID and enable all functions
- In case company has many restriction you can define the permission based on group of users for example
- Board user
- HR users
- Sales users
- User can control the list of function for each page listed below
- Home page
- Profile page
- Self services
- Inquires
- Approvals
04-03 Setup Application user group
- Login dynamics 365 by admin user
- Prefer to login by HCMADMIN user
- Select Self services
- Select Application users group
- Define the user group ID based on security requirements
- In case company doesn’t have an security restriction permission for users login in application , You can define one group by same legal entity ID and enable all functions
- In case company has many restriction you can define the permission based on group of users for example
- Board user
- HR users
- Sales users
- Select Users tab
- Select User you need to attach them to the group
- You have option to import user by excel sheet
- Click import users group
- Generate template
- Fill excel sheet by required data
- Save file in any drive
- Click import and brows for saved file
- Click ok
04-04 Setup application users
- Login dynamics 365 by admin user
- Prefer to login by HCMADMIN user
- Select Self services
- Select Application users
- Import Workers
- You have option to import worker and activate them or defining it manually
- Be sure manager has user ID in domain user and define as manage in application
- Note approval tab will not appear if he is employee
- Activate user
- User should be active to to run the application
- Reset password
- By selecting reset user system will reset the user password to default password defined in paramter referee to
- Deactivate user
- By selecting deactivate user system will disable user
- Update user login status
- Any terminated worker should be exclude from users ( You don’t need to worry becasue application validation for employee should have active employment to run the application
- You can attach deactivate users to any batch process and it’ll exclude the users automatically based in your batch processing schedule
- Permission level
- Manager
- User will be able to view the approval view
- Employee
- User will be able to view all menus except Approval tab
