Soletechs Upgrade to New version (MP, SDS, SDR -> STS)

Dear Customer,

As part of the ongoing upgrade process, we are migrating Soletechs objects from MP, SDS, SDR to STS.
Upgrade changes are available starting 2025.07.15.01 version

Going forward, whenever you install a new package from Soletechs, the following steps must be completed to ensure proper system functionality:

⚠️ Note:

  • Ensure the workflow configuration is exported to allow importing into the new model.
  • Copy the setup table to serve as a reference for the new model.
  • Always test the package in the UAT environment before applying any changes in Production.

1. Data Migration

  • Navigate to: System Administration > Periodic tasks > Soletechs > Data Migration from Old Version
  • Select all records from the grid and click Data Migration.
  • ⚠️ If this step is skipped, the Soletechs module will not appear in the main menu.
  • Tip: Perform this first in UAT, validate data, then apply in Production.

2. Workflow Configuration Migration

  • New workflow configurations must be created to support migration objects.
  • The system will restrict the creation of certain requests until workflows are migrated.
  • Steps:
    1. Export the workflow configuration.
    2. Edit the XML file, replacing “MP” with “STS”.
      1. ⚠️ If you are editing the MPWorkerOffer workflow configuration XML, please don’t replace the word MPWorkerOfferId. All remaining occurrences of “MP” should be replaced with “STS”.
    3. Save the file and re-import it.
  • ✅ This process will create the required workflow configuration for continued processing.
  • ⚠️ If export fails, you will need to manually create the workflow configuration.

3. Custom Extensions / Model Dependencies

  • If you have extended Soletechs objects or used them in your own model, the system may throw errors.
  • Please refer to the attached document: Soletechs Migration to Latest Version.xlsx
    • locked with key If you don’t have access to this file provide your email address and it will be added
    • It lists the released objects to be used for extensions and dependencies.
  • ⚠️ If your custom extension adds fields to Soletechs tables:
    • Include the same fields in the new table.
    • Prepare your own SQL script to copy the custom field values from the old table to the new table.
  • Tip: Validate custom extensions and data migration in UAT first before applying changes in Production.
